LaSt WeEk Of a VeRy LoNg hoLidaY...

went to hornsby borders to read my latest in death book... memory in death, it was quite a disappointment for me cos it was not as exciting and funny as the series used to be... i actually have the whole series, i am a big fan of this series but it seems to be getting alittle draggy...

one of our uncles came to stay at our house for a few days and he bought a few pirated dvds for us and we watched fearless by jet li on sat night... apparently it's a new release but i haven't heard of it over here... it was quite good... too bad it's a sad ending and much better than unleashed... all of us agreed that jet li looks better in olden days shows than present days movies... with his shaved head and long ponytail... uncle michael treated us to chinese food at our fav shop in eastwood... and prisy and I found this chinese shop there that sells and rents chinese, jap, korean and english shows and movies for very cheap prices... oh we were so excited... i rented the korean show the successful story of a bright girl with jang nara and she rented a love to kill with rain in it... i actually liked the show alot... saw it on tv before quite awhile ago but bcos they showed it at a very late time, i did not get to watch some parts of the show...

work was as usual... but last week i worked the most, i actually exceeded the standard number of hours that anyone was supposed to work... getting so sian of that place already... but cannot be helped... will still continue working there till i can't... the evil woman's getting better in her attitude towards everyone... and... suddenly i realised that there is a sudden influx of young guys working as shelvers leh... before... mostly were either females or older pple working as shelvers but now things are getting interesting... get to see some of these cute guys walking ard so work is not as mundane... haha...

TupPeRwaRe pArtY...

yup... had my first tupperware party just on wed... if u are wondering what the hell is a tupperware party... well that's just what it sounds like... a tupperware lady comes to ur house to promote tupperware to all ur guests and play some games involving tupperware and bake stuff using... guess what... tupperware!! haha... like if we were in singapore... no one would have heard of such a thing, let alone havng this kind of party... it's a new experience for me too...

it's actually a long story but prisy and me were "forced" into hosting a tupperware party... and there weren't many pple that i could invite... but prisy invited most of her workmates and i only invited yochi and anna... it was actually quite a success... started at ard 730pm with the lady playing a small game with us and after that, proceeded to making something called tuppertruffles... which were quite nice... anything with chocolate in it is nice to me... and then she went on to explain abt some of the tupperwares that she brought to demonstrate... and then played another game... i liked this game though... all of us (since we were all females, can u imagine a guy at this kind of party?)... abit suspicious... anyway, we were split into two teams and when she mentioned an item, we had to see who can produce that item the fastest from our handbags... it was really hilarious actually... like u wouldn't believe what we girls actually have in our handbags... like for eg when she said a calculator... no one has it except me and everyone was laughing while i was frantically digging thru my purse for it... i didn't really think it's funny to have a calculator with me... u actually need it sometimes... and stuff like screwdrivers... thank god no one actually carries one ard... weird??... tampons... haha... foreign money... fun...

and coincidentally, it was yochi's bdae that day too... so i bought a choc mud cake for her and we celebrated for her... this was the first time since i met her and anna since the vacation... and apparently... a few pple have dropped out of the course... hmmm... and... i actually only found out that night that my friend anna, whom i have known for like almost a year already... has a baby boy leh and i didn't even know abt it till now... i was totally shocked when she mentioned it during the party... not that we were really close or what... but shouldn't we know something like that?? not that i am trying to be kaypo or something...

"DowN"dAte...

get the joke??!
went out with karen on wed to the city... of course we sang karaoke and then went to search for a present for yochi's bdae... found this really cute photo album-like wooden box... you open the lid and u can pull out the photos... very nice... this was the first time i met up with karen since uni ended last year... she is still trying to look for a job... she's been here the whole time cos she did not go back home this time...

and on fri... went out with prisy again to the city... went to her fren wendy's house to eat pizza... with nao and edlyn... watched the punisher... a cheesy show btw... and then went to this bar called equilibrium... i did not really feel like going and it was raining that night and when we reached the bar... it was quite crowded... and i didn't feel comfortable... i really felt like going home and prisy had to leave early bcos i really did not like the place... so i did not talk at all and besides... the music's so loud... and i was tired... sigh... prisy was also like saying next time she dun have to invite me to go to these kind of places... i totally agree... they are just not my kind of place... :(

oh and btw... these few days... prisy and me have been on a "FULL House" marathon... the korean show... it is sooo funny and the characters are so cute... so weird to see song hae gyo laughing and acting cute... cos her shows mostly are all crying types... remember autumn in my heart? i love the show but there are just too much crying... actually when i went back to singapore in dec... pong already asked me to watch the show cos she has the vcd... but i was not really interested... and then prisy's fren wendy lent her the vcd and she was watching it one day and i also got hooked onto it... it's quite a good show actually... i can't believe i am saying this...but i think it's better than meteor garden... the two of them are so cute and funny together... i actually went online to research their ages... cos the both of us thought that she looked older than him... but they are actually of the same age... and... for those of u who dun noe... they are going out together... so sweet... and the guy rain is actually quite popular everywhere... although i have not heard of him until i watched the show... pong also like him... yuck...

BaCkStReet'S bAck...

Backstreet Boys!!! AAAHHHH... (imagine andrea screaming like a maniac)... well... i dun think anyone who noes me has seen me screaming like a maniac... but that's what i was doing that night at the concert... ohmigod... the concert was soooooooo good... i did not regret spending that money to watch the backstreet boys perform live... it was like a childhood dream come true for me... since i started liking them when i was 13... i have always wanted to go watch them perform live and last mon... i finally fulfilled my dream... i can't believe i am actually in the same space as them not far away from me... breathing the same air as me... the whole place was literally packed with screaming girls... oh man... it was amazing... when they first come out singing The Call... the whole place was just filled with screams... nick looked abit chubbier and we all felt that his eyes looked abit weird... like he was taking drugs or something... i hope not... brian still looked the same... older... aj, howie and kevin also looked the same... we were so so lucky to get the seats that we had...

they sang both old songs and new... stuff like All I Have to give... Quit playing games with my heart... I want it that way... Drowning...to new songs like Incomplete... I still... Crawling back to you... the effects were also excellent... they had like lasers... fireworks... and snow... they also took time out in between their songs to thank the fans individually... oh... and then brian actually came up to the level where we were sitting but by the time i ran there... he had already gone back down to the stage... i was so close...it was just absolutely breath-taking... after the concert, the four of us still kept talking abt them and i even bought their official merchandise... even though i got so many of their stuff already... i should have gotten the buttons... shit... i totally fell in love with them all over again... still remembered the first time i saw them on MTV... when i was 13... it was actually their video clip of everybody (backstreet's back)... they will always be the greatest band in my heart... i hope they will continue making more good music... I love the BACKSTREET BOYS!!!

WOrLd CuP FeVEr...

World Cup 2022, held in Qatar this time around, has been full of shocks and surprises... the underdogs are definitely Morroco and hopefully ...
